Portfolio Help: Add Other Investments

About Adding Other Investments: The "Other Investments" section of GlobeAdvisor allows you to track investments other than mutual funds and stocks, including bonds, GICs, and real estate. Tracking such assets involves recording the original value of the investment and periodically updating the market value of the investment.

A list of other investments already added to your portfolio appears in the grey box at the bottom of the page.

To add an "Other Investment" to your portfolio, follow these steps.

1. In the Enter Investment Name box, enter the name by which you will track your investment.
2. Click the down arrow below Select Currency to indicate whether this investment is valued in Canadian or U.S. dollars.
3. Click Add Other Investment. GlobeAdvisor will confirm the addition of this investment to your portfolio and will prompt you to record the original or current market value for the investment.
